Dr Andrew Hall is a Senior Lecturer in Acoustics at the University of Auckland, and a versatile performer, composer, arranger, and producer based in Auckland. Specialising in saxophone, clarinet, flute, and vocals, Andrew was formerly a member of dDub and now leads his own band, Spiral Collective. He also holds the chair of lead alto saxophone and arranges and composes for the Auckland Jazz Orchestra.

Andrew has performed with artists like Eric Marienthal, Chris Thompson, Georgie Fame, Rodger Fox, and Dave Matthews, and has appeared at festivals such as the Monterey Jazz Festival and Melbourne Fringe Festival.
