TYPOGRAPHY IN MOTION
Where ink meets innovation, explore how the spaces between words shape our interpretation.
Whanganui Regional Museum invites schools from across the Whanganui District to celebrate TYPOGRAPHY IN MOTION, an EOTC programme inspired by the Festival of Design 2026.
Led by museum education staff, this hands-on learning experience combines knowledge of historical printmaking, principals of design and contemporary installation ideas. Students will use WRM's historic printing press to compose original type arrangements, pull large collaborative prints and contribute to two typography installations focused on protest and poetry.
IMPORTANT NOTE: TYPOGRAPHY IN MOTION is available to school groups only (Whanganui Region). Bookings available here.
